About 5 or 6 of these old crude black & white game films are yours for the taking. All are from the mid 1960s here in Austin. The example I'm holding in my hand is from the 1964 game between Lamar & Lanier - 8th or 9th grade (Lanier wasn't a high school yet at that time).

These films probably run 10 minutes or more each.

Any of you guys who knows somebody who played in the era may want to ask if they'd like to have them.

Can't bring myself to throw them away (even though that's what an old coach at Lamar Jr. High was doing when I rescued these few). I'll bet he tossed out three or four dozen of the school's game films when he was cleaning out a storeroom at the school back in the 70s or 80s.

Will post this in a couple other forums if it's ok.

Let me check with my Dad. He went to Lamar jrh and graduated from McCallum in 1967. Not sure that the timing works for him to be at Lamar in 64, but i'll ask and get back to you.

Pulque said his McCallum Reunion Committee might want them, so maybe he & your Dad can decide what to do with them

I live about a half mile from you - I'm in the Meadows of Brushy Creek.

Lemme talk to Pulque first since he responded to my thread over a day ago.
