If the vids and texts exist the son should release them.

Edit to add a second person has come froward accusing Ellison of domestic abuse
    https://www.lauraloomer.us/blog/911-record-documents-claim-of-keith-ellison-s-domestic-assault

Following Monahan's allegations, another woman by the name of Amy Alexander also claimed that Ellison had abused her during a 2005 relationship. While Monahan didn't provide any evidence of the domestic assault, there is evidence to support the second woman's claims.

I'll let the legal process play out for Ellison but I have no need to protect him. He should step down from any leadership positions while he works this out.

NY-R Chris Collins was charged with insider trading last week. Based on the early reports...they have him, his son and another dead to rights. Collins is no longer pursuing re-election. The problem is, he now needs to be pulled from the November ballot and replaced. The Democrats are threatening to SUE to keep him on the ballot!

It's a crazy world we live in.

What an embarrassment that I voted for that pothead. Oh well, it turned out pretty good.

Besides Koback announcement (see^above), Trump candidates also won on Tuesday --
    ** Hawley won in Missouri.
** James won the senate primary in Michigan.
    ** Shuette won in Michigan.
    ** Balderson won in Ohio

ps -- also vocal Trump-hater Richard Painter lost the Den Sen primary in Minn (to Tina Smith)

I'm hard headed, but a 2-by-4 to the forehead will often get my attention. I've grown quite disillusioned with Mr Pothead. I won't be casting another vote for him.

Are Mr Pothead toys going to be as popular as Mr Potatohead? Probably in CA and CO.

I'm just glad that Dems are finally starting to be honest. They are the Anti-America party which promotes socialism, lawlessness, and open borders.

None of it makes any sense. It's like they think the job is working for all the people of earth rather than representing American citizens in their body politic. The oath of office means nothing to them. They think individual rights under the Constitution extend to any and all persons no matter where they are situated, not just citizens of the United States.

This is going to have to be dealt with at some point. The federal courts never want to wade into what are traditionally 'political issues,' and with good reason, but on this they may be forced to.

It was an unfortunate quote that was stated in a signing ceremony legislation that supported sexual assault victims.

To put the quote in context, JoeFan's picture in the other thread harkens back to a time where institutionalized racism was acceptable while Gov. Andrew Cuomo is simply saying "lets make America better". Cuomo could and should have been more articulate.

No. Cuomo was letting his true feelings show, if only for one sound-bite.

You cling on to every Mickey Mouse mistake/gaffe that Trump does then make excuses for Cuomo when he says something truly heinous. Unbelievable.

Uh oh -- clean up on aisle 3

More than a dozen community groups have called on Rep. Bettie Cook Scott (D-Detroit) to apologize for a series of racial slurs sources say she used to describe her primary election opponent, Rep. Stephanie Chang (D-Detroit).

Scott is alleged to have referred to Chang as "ching-chang" and "the ching-chong" to multiple voters outside polling precincts during last Tuesday's election. She's also said to have called one of Chang's campaign volunteers an “immigrant,” saying “you don’t belong here” and “I want you out of my country.”

It will be interesting to see which approach works with Detroit voters

Anyone willing to bet me whether or not CNN covers this story?

Detroit Rep. Bettie Cook Scott on Asian opponent: 'Don't vote for the ching-chong!'

It's entirely anecdotal, but I've been in Plano for the last week and have seen a ton of Beto signs and literally not a single Cruz sign. The GOP wins Texas reliably by crushing the Democrats in big suburbs like Plano - by enough of a margin to offset the big cities. If that cracks, Texas becomes purple. Cruz needs to get with it.

    Mr D
Political signs are not allowed until 90 days before election which was a few days ago And the Cruz campaign is handing them out now
One more thing a campaign sign must have the name of a campaign official on it ( I think the treasurer)The early O'rourke signs did not.
One could excuse it to his ignorance but this is his 4th campaign.

I have asked some people what policies they like of his ; sanctuary cities? Open boarders? Hatred of Israel? His restrictive stand on our second amendment?
No one actually knew any of his positions but just didn't like Cruz or Trump.

Hopefully before they vote they will pay attention and pay attention to how
    the economy is doing.
