Well i have no idea why he decided to portal but lets put on the full court press on this guy There is a reason he was a 5 star Maybe he wasn't getting the desired PT or something but i believe he has opportunity here. He does have to earn PT though.
Something to keep an eye on. Michigan State offered LB Harold Perkins yesterday, and he's already set up a visit to East Lansing for this weekend. With Perkins' strong ties to Louisiana, is Mel Tucker getting ahead of things and recruiting him for LSU? Harold Perkins, Cy Park, Linebacker
Just dreamin a little: What if we could get o-linemen: Devon Campbell Kingsley Suamataia One of Greene, agbo, banks or Dewberry To go with hutson and robertson. That's a haul of five And not far- fetched. Do we need one more? That would be a strong class of linemen.
I suspect and speculate that suamataia is Mormon and that is his reason for leaving Oregon and wanting to go to BYU. If that is the case then we may not have a chance to get him. Just sayin
Wisconsin has a former 5* center that was a starter until getting hurt last year and losing his status. He entered the portal a couple of weeks back. Anyone have any details on his abilities?
Are we at the point where we look for large guys who work at moving companies? Let’s put out an APB to anyone moving the next few weeks to BOLO for husky movers who have great feet. Maybe we can get them enrolled for Spring semester.
Or we can look for large guys with good feet just coming out of prison. They are likely to have a nasty disposition (i mean meanness) so they would make an excellent candidate. All we have to do is forgive and forget their past poor choices.
IT saying WR Evan Stewart is working to graduate in December and be an early enrollee at the college of his choice. This has evolved into an A&M vs. Texas battle, and Stewart will return to College Station for the Auburn game next weekend. Stewart's mindset right now appears to be deciding between the better offensive fit and a school (Texas) that's been a constant in his recruitment, versus a school (A&M) that just beat Alabama and seems closer to championship contention. Apparently Jimbo's offense and lack of WR involvement isn't a deal-breaker for Stewart since he's being sold as the vital missing piece. Evan Stewart, Liberty, Wide Receiver

II had a less optimistic post on RB Jamarion Miller this evening saying Alabama is very much pushing for a flip. His family has always been pro-Texas and his mother definitely doesn't like the idea of the distance to Tuscaloosa, but she wouldn't object if that's what he wants to do. Basically, Texas needs to show some life the rest of the season. Jamarion Miller, Tyler Legacy, Running Back
Five-star OT Kelvin Banks, four-star QB Devin Brown named flip candidates for Texas We've heard about the potential to flip Banks from Oregon, man we could use him. But I haven't heard much about Devin Brown mentioned here as a possible flip at QB.
A couple of west coast mods have out a cb for Brown to Tx. All the back chatter is that he will likely commit after his visit here. USC is pushing hard to retain him but without a permanent head coach yet, we'll have to see. Banks has been a long shot once he committed to the ducks. But the coaching staff has been relentless in keeping the lines of communication open.
Perkins wants to play in the sec. This visit has more to do with Tucker. The talk of Tucker becoming LSU's next coach is gaining momentum. This is troublesome as it would would have an impact on some of the kids we are recruiting and some of our current commitments. Here's hoping michigan state opens the bank vault Tucker.
Per IT, OL Devon Campbell of Arlington Bowie will officially visit UT for the Kansas game. Devon Campbell, Bowie, Offensive Tackle
Maybe he can leave at half time. This kid has been so quiet about his recruitment. He has been on campus a dozen times over the last year and a half. There's not a whole lot left to see. This is his " official".
@_Datsdj Im opening my recruitment back up just not decommitting yet ------------------------------------ DJ Allen 4 * WR from Gladewater. Kinda sorta de committing from TCU.
Nick Harris@NickHarris247JUST IN: Texas will host Humble (Texas) Atascocita 4 * OL Kam Dewberry for an official visit on Nov. 13 for the Longhorns’ game against Kansas. 9:49 PM · Nov 1, 2021 from Lewisville, TX
Looks like Campbell and Dewberry are visiting together for the Kansas game. I am guessing they have already made a decision to sign with Texas. I really believe it.
