I’m so proud of this team!!! Sophia Simpson was just fantastic and couldn’t have come at a better time. Her future is so bright and I’m excited to see her career unfold. Someone who has played well all post season and not getting enough attention is Alyssa Washington. She’s just been on a different level defensively and at the plate. Proud is an understatement but we’re not done yet!!

They didn’t give us hats, shirts, or the big ticket that everyone gets. If you go to Hailey Dolcini and Iakopo twitter they are pretty upset about it and CDC contacted the ncaa to know why Texas didn’t have the gear. I can tell you why, it’s because they didn’t think Texas would win

She seems like a CLASS act. She’ll have offers to go anywhere when any big job opens. But she has also made Arky a big job. Kudos to her and her team.
I found that Deifel makes a little over $300k with postseason and speaking bonuses. When she was hired they were last in the SEC. Mike White make $500k plus bonuses. I would say the Arkies better be ready to bump her salary or several other schools could come knocking. The aTm job is available by the way!!
When researching her coaching history to see how she had built up the Arky team, I was reminded she was the coach that had the HC job at Maryland for 1 year, did so-so, and then jumped to Arkansas before year 2. But back then, Maryland was a mess in terms of the athletic administration (not that Arkansas wasn't either, but less so).
Arkansas courted Mike White a few seasons ago before he turned them down as Oregon stepped up with a raise. I kept thinking about that every time the TV cameras zoomed in on Coach White. Some think A&M could try to entice her to CS.
