so I suppose the top five toughest on this schedule in order would be:
    1 Georgia...by far and away
    2 Michigan..they lose a lot, not scared
    3 OK..new QB, maybe should be 2
    4 Agg...good athletes, their place
5 Ark..always scare me at their place

Georgia game the same weekend as F1 was not smart scheduling. There won't be a decent hotel room for 100 miles for us out-of-towners.

I like there are 2 bye weeks sandwiched like they are.

Plus there are 2 weeks to prepare for ou.... its payback time for that fluke last second win those ******** got in '23.

With LHN going away, are some games not going to be televised? Or will ESPN, Fox Sports, etc. pick up the slack and provide regional coverage?

ESPN+ will inherit LHN's programming. Sports should continue, but the documentaries probably will have to find a new home.

And the SEC network. I can almost guarantee any game not picked up by a major network will be played there. Too many SEC gomers will want to watch to see us fail in our first year. The more we win the more they will watch to cheer against us. I guarantee that.

I will have to check but I don't think my current provider includes ESPN+ :confused2:

Not likely. ESPN+ is a online service for streaming games.

Worster lives in McKinney, the Spectrum string might not stretch that far.

Good to know. We are contemplating changing from Att Uverse to Spectrum, but not because of ESPN+.

We understand we will give up pausing live shows, rewinding and fast forwarding. That may make the change a deal breaker.

@BLucky - does Spectrum streaming have those show control features?

Worster, Spectrum allows the recordings, but it is cable box specific, not whole house.

You don't have to have a cable box. I stream Spectrum just like I stream Netflix/Amazon/Hulu, through my internet. I have access to some of the channels when I travel outside the local Austin area. There is recording available even when you stream. The interface is a little clunkier but not much.

He was concerned a bit being able to record. You can with a box.

It's no different...my recordings are saved to the cloud. I have access to my recordings wherever I am on my phone or computer. It's the same thing as using You Tube TV. I've done that as well.

ESPN, Fox, and Turner are launching their combined sports app within the next year or so. It'll be bundled with some cable providers and also the Hulu/Disney one as of right now. People without cable will be expected to pay Netflix-ish prices for it ($20/mo).

Very happy to say that my Great Nephew has just accepted his admission to the McCombs School Honors Program. My brother (his Granddad & HUGE tcehie) was a total ******* at his family announcement. Tcehsters are famous for being obnoxious & my brother was true to form when his Grandson announced that he is headed to UT.
He will be only the 2nd member of my family to go to UT. He overcame tremendous pressure to follow the family tradition of going to Tceh. I faced similar pressure when I told family that I was headed to Austin. I am VERY proud of him.

That's just his granddad's way of showing that he's happy his descendants made better choices than he did.
