    Didn't Cotton turn on Trump?

Okay good, I always liked Cotton even though he's from Arkie lol.

I like Cotton but he does not have “it” to become President. I could support Desantis. I’m guessing Rick Scott will be a candidate too. Noem, Haley and Rubio will also throw their hats in the ring. But I’m guessing Don Jr. will disrupt it all.

DeSantis barely squeaked by a #MeToo, escort-acquiring, meth-loving, alcoholic fraud in Florida for the gubernatorial race... a state in which Trump actually did quite well among Latinos. We need someone not from Florida.

Florida has been flooded with Dumbass New Yorkers. They will destroy that state too.

DeSantis is much more popular among conservatives since his pro-freedom response to COVID.

    This isn't very fair.

First, that was the most Democratic election year in a hell of a long time. Republicans struggled all over the country, and plenty of strong Republicans lost.

Second, Florida is a close state. It's hard for either party's candidates to win big unless the opposition basically doesn't try.

Third, the really bad stuff about Gillum didn't become known until after the election, and he didn't get caught with the dead gay male escort and the meth until 2020. I'm sure the media knew he was a slobbering drunk and a drug abuser back in 2018, but he basically got the "never-a-dry-ball-moment" treatment from them like Beto O'Rourke did in Texas.

No Republican wins under those circumstances unless he's a very strong candidate and runs a very good race. I'm not saying Desantis is my guy, but I wouldn't dismiss him just because his election margin was narrow under the most unfavorable of circumstances.

If you think like I do that Florida Governor Ron DeSantis is a leading contender in 2024, or even if you don't but at least agree Democrats also think he is, then and only then, will this story will make any sense at all

The Biden administration is considering imposing domestic travel restrictions on Florida

You have to admit that Dems are good at identifying threats early and attacking them in preemptive strikes. They don't always get it right and they are not always effective, but you have to give them credit for being so proactive.

DeSantis has responded to Biden's threat to shut down all Florida interstate travel ---

    “I will not comply"

“Florida absolutely will not comply. Instituting a travel ban or restriction of movement would be a gross example of federal overreach with no grounding in law or science. We have Covid-19 in check, and you’re trying to exert unlawful authority over our state and its people”

    Or the short version [IMG]

With the Dem part of the impeachment trial over, it’s all done for the Trump bashing, which then fully exposes them to the Biden **** show.

But a ban on a bunch of people from China flying into the US and coughing on people was xenophobic.

I think its a ban on "Florida man" leaving the state to procreate
Something, absent politics, I might agree with

Florida man caught on camera licking doorbell

I think after 4 years of autocratic Dem rule, the Repubs should be able to run any reasonable candidate and win.

Everytime I go to one of my local grocery stores, none of which have closed from the outset of the virus from China, I always think about the position of the Teachers' Unions

What are teachers so different than grocery store workers?

They are likely in far less danger in their jobs than teachers are.
