Damn i cant believe its been 5 years already. Watching the highlights from the MNC game, its amazing to see the absolutely sick amount of talent on the field, both USC and Texas. Has there ever been a MNC game that featured so many future NFLers? Maybe OSU/Miami in '02 comes close.
That was an amazing year+ for me, football wise. I was at the first RB vs Michigan (Jan 1st). I went to Columbus to watch VY and the Horns beat tOSU (at NIGHT! In the SHOE!) I got to go to the NC game (Jan 6th, 2006). What an incredible year (plus one week).
That happened to be, and still is as a matter of fact, my birthday as well. A great present finished out nicely by VY. (and the D holding on 4th down)
