I'm fine with it as long as they also change the college hockey season to Jan.24-Feb.1 to reflect the suitable climate down here.

Who's this "Nebraska coach John Anderson" of whom he speaks? Mike Anderson's brother or something. HNK, did Mike hire someone and the Omaha Weird Herald not cover it?

This will be really tough on the boys in their school work. I don't know how they juggle everything anyway, but playing this many games a week is really strange.

John Anderson is actually the coach at the University of Minnesota. He was one of the ones pushing for the uniform start date. I don't think he envisioned the fall scrimmage games, though.

Hmmm, the NCAA (and apparently the school presidents)has no problems with baseball teams having to play 5 games a week but God forbid they support a playoff in football because of all the missed class time an extra few game would cause.
