Well, hats off to LSU for beating us at our own game--strong bullpen pitching and clutch, late-inning hitting. I believe the Tigers' final four runs came with two outs.

Our offense played as well as we could hope, and our relief pitching was totally outclassed b y their offense. Doesn't look good for us to win two, but go Horns...
Great game by the Horns but we just came up short. We had our chances and let it slip away but that's the nature of the game. We can come back and play tomorrow or mail it in. One game at a time, one out a time. congrats to lsu on a hard fought game.

I don't see us coming back from that one to force a third game. Mo is gone, pitching was worked over and they stole our invincibility aura and put it in their dugout. Same thing we've been doing to all the other teams since the tourney started. But feel free to prove me wrong, Horns! I would love to have this posted later and eat some burnt orange crow.
