Actually, it was over when our 1 and 2 hitters could not poke a ball into the outfield to score the runner from 2nd in the bottom of the 9th. Torres lifts everything up lately. Must hit a groundball there to the right side. [IMG] [IMG] [IMG]

    WorsterMan SEC here we come!!

Plenty of chances to win it late but we couldn't get the hit when we needed it. Clutch pitching keep us in it even when lsu had our backs to the wall.

Horns will get em Tuesday! [IMG]

Awesome game Horns, just breathe taking. Hats off to your pitching staff and I am most impressed with your long ball. THAT is championship baseball. No matter the outcome for this game, it was as advertised. We should all pray for a game with such outstanding play on both sides tomorrow night. Best of luck, we all want each other’s very best.

Ruffin pitched a hell of a game..sad to see we could not have finished it out for him. Credit the Tigers for coming through when it counted, when we could not. Hope we can manage a series out of it.

OR we could say game was lost when Chance cramped up. It's not like they were hitting him much. BUT the guy coming up next had punished the ball off him twice. THere's no way to tell.

    Oh, for God's sake!

Y'all are a bunch of whining wimps that make me extremely happy you aren't competing in this series.

Have you ever thought to yourselves that the people that complain about fair-weather/band-wagon Horn fans might be referencing the very same "it's over" behavior that you guys are exhibiting?

    Suck it up.

It's baseball - anything can happen, and will.

    It isn't over.

If we don't expect to win two in a row then why should we expect them to?

Win one. Then win another. It's baseball. Whatever adversity we have to face they have to face, as well.
