I think he did a great job proving A&M's claim wrong - that they wanted to the rivalry to continue and that it was Texas who actually cancelled it and continues to duck it.

Lots of taunting Aggy on SEC board about being afraid to play Texas. One LSU poster said,” Don’t worry, we have a home and home scheduled with Texas. However, we are moving the games to Father’s Day in your honor.”

 

LOL, they haven't followed that tradition for nearly 100 years. Why on Earth resurrect it now?

 

If A&M wants to cheat, they should just cheat for the other schools. Since if any of them win championships it counts as a championship for A&M anyway...

Really, since they almost all seem to think that any win for any team counts for all 14 teams, the other 13 should just all agree collectively to pay players to attend Alabama.

 

In order to follow that tradition, they have to follow a more modern tradition, one that jimbo is very well aware of.

We used to say my grandmother had "selective hearing" -- anything or anyone she did not want to deal with, she just pretended not to hear.
