ATH Lil'Jordan Humphrey (Feb 2, 2015)(Jan 30, 2016 COMMIT)

I saw #GoBears in the tweet and thought Baylor. Glad it is Cal! I don't want anyone to go to play for the Wacko Bears.

ATH Lil’Jordan Humphrey officially visited Texas last weekend and to say it went well would be an understatement. He said the visit was, “way better” than he expected and gave it a “10 out of 10”. He said the best part of the visit was, “Talking with all the coaches, recruits, and players and building a great relationship with the team. We all really enjoyed ourselves”.

Humphrey said that the Texas coaches don’t want to label him as just a wide receiver, but more of an athlete on the offense who can line up anywhere.

Humphrey is down to Texas and Cal and will take an official visit out to Berkley next weekend before he announces his commitment on NBC5 on January 30th. He really likes Cal but I feel very good about Texas’ chances in this one.

Norvell apparently told Humphrey he would use him the way Oklahoma used Jermaine Gresham…inside and flexed out. I’m told Humphrey is sold and so is his mom.

 

I really like Norvell. Being a UT coordinator of any form only brings critics, but every time I hear that guy talk- I think that's a man of really high character and integrity.

I have already envisioned this in my Dreams of Longhorn Awesomeness. It involves midget Sooner DBs, Stoops’ broken headset in pieces on the Cotton Bowl grass, and loud refrains of Texas Fight. I awaken from this dream in a state of extreme friskiness.
