This team has the skillset to do it all but if they don't consistently have great AB's with two out and runners in scorig position they won't get it done again this year. The seniors and juniors are the leaders who have to show by example. They have to make the crucial catch. They have to rally the team in the 7th,8th, 9th inning when they come to the plate with RISP, with 2 down, with the bases clearing double.(or walk or single ) Too many times in the past two years that didn't happen. Bill in Sinton mentons focusness, which has become a joke term. But sincerly focusing when the big times of the game happen is what is the difference between winning and losing. Augie will get them ready. Should be an interesting year with the newly compressed schedule.
Zork I couldn't agree more. We left way too many runners on base the past two seasons. That was the difference b/n 06/07 and the seasons prior to that. Seemed like every single time Seth Johnston came to the plate in 05 with 2 outs and men on base, he got the job done.
