I got a parking ticket in July when visiting the UT campus with a friend. I forgot about it and therefore haven't paid it. In the meantime, I was hired here locally for a part-time job pending background check. It's been more than a week since I was told I was hired, yet I've heard nothing about start date or orientation. Do you think this unpaid parking ticket showing up on my background check??
When they ran your background the ticket obviously hadn't turned into a warrant, so I think you're good. Maybe just a slow process for some reason. Unless someone jumped the gun and offered you the job before the background was completed. Good luck, Fugitive.
This fugitive is hired and has orientation tomorrow. They don't care 'bout no stinkin' UT parking ticket.
You’ll still have to live with that transgression for the rest of your life. I don’t know how you can sleep at night. Shameful.
