Finished the season today with a loss to a 1 win Cincy team. He finished the year with a stunning 52.2 QBR and thru two seasons has thrown 32 interceptions in 29 games played. Nice job Bacon.

I still think that take-down in Fayettenam when the po-po bounced him off the wall messed with his melon...just maybe not as bad as Burfict's hit to AB messed HIM up.

Maybe it should be Bacon Mayfold except for the certainty of the latter.

His greatest accomplishment in the NFL is getting two HC’s fired.

He is 2-0 on that count for sure. He may be next if he cannot bring himself around.

And yet, amazingly and with his less than stellar character, a huge advertiser, Progressive Insurance, has chosen to make him the poster boy in their “At Home With Baker Mayfield” campaign. That company must be run by idiots.

Hmmm. Nationwide features Payton Manning and Progressive chooses Mayfield. Probably a good reason to never do business with that company.

LOL, this HAS to stick. Perfect.

As if we needed more evidence that Bacon Mayfold was a major setback to the human race and the sport of football, the Cleveland Browns took him to be their Quarterback with this first draft pick.
    Case closed.

The Browns ownership must be the most unenlightened (AKA stupid) in the league, and that’s saying something.

    Tom Couch
    Johnny Manziel
    Bacon Mayfold

The stupidity has no bounds. Loaded with first round draft picks, year after year, and they continue to be an embarrassment.

It starts at the top. Anyone one of us on HF could do a better job of running that franchise then they have.

Can you imagine what a juggernaut of a football team we could create if we formed a consortium of Hornfans members to run that franchise?
    Oh wait....never mind.

Even Jerrah can laugh at the Browns management.
And the rest of the league laughs at him!

Bacon Mayfield? Is this TexHorns.com now?

Let's be fair to Mayfield, it's actually 35 interceptions in 29 starts.

I suspect the marketing gurus at Progressive are trying to remain true to the name of the company, perhaps be more avant-garde than their competitors.

By picking Bacon they think a non-conventional, cocky, obnoxious (plus other adjectives) NFL QB aka "progressive" spokesperson, will get the attention of viewers and have them think positive / consider their insurance products.

Just my .02 .... but much like Detective Shilala's signature line, I don't claim to know ****!!

Hay, Bacon could play Mayhem in the Progressive Insurance commercials, although that guy actually has talent.
