I think it is Texas's turn to travel to Palo Alto, and since there will be an extra weekend(Nebraska is now in the Big Ten), it will be interesting to see to who Augie gets to fill that weekend. .
I am pretty sure we go to Stanford. We have not been there in a couple of years. We changed this year because of the trip to Hawaii.
Don't see the Stanford series ending as long as Augie and Marquess are the coaches. Good trip, fans are pretty friendly and we're welcome at the Oasis Beer Garden in Menlo Park.
from KB... The Link 7. Heard a rumor that Garrido might try to schedule either Creighton or Nebraska in a series at TD Ameritrade Park in Omaha, but it won't be next season and maybe never. Would be very smart if it happens. It'd give the Longhorns experience in that park, allow them to play before CWS-style crowds, and be a great TV draw for the Longhorn Network. The games probably would have to come in a bye week in May, although finals could prevent it. Texas will open its 2012 season against Duke, play a series at Stanford and face Rice as part of the Minute Maid Classic in Houston. Consider this another plea for an annual home-and-home series with the Owls — good for the game, both teams and college baseball fans. I am told UT seniors Cole Green and Tant Shepherd are close to signing contracts with the Reds and the Mets.
