ISU surprises WVU in Morgantown, 80-55. That, unfortunately for the league, will likely drop the #22 Mountaineers out of the top 25.

WVU announcers kept saying that the WVU had been ravaged by the flu earlier in the week. I know those kids playing have 40+ years on me, but I can't imagine playing while recovering from the flu. I am still sleeping most of the time a few days after the worse of it.

OU jumped out on OSU early and kept a 10+ pt lead most of the first half but OSU closed strong late in the second quarter to get it to 30-26 OU at the half. We got a game in Stillwater.

OU pressing and OSU still has trouble with it. They need to figure out how to handle a press.

Some BU fans complaining about the Tech game not being on TV and having to pay to watch it. Sign of the times as universities continue to search for revenue streams. I am surprised every season that WVU continues to offer their home WBB games online for free. Grateful, mind you, but surprised.

yeah, Bedlam was a good one. OU pulls out a 66-60 win over OSU in Stillwater.
Time to follow BU @ Tech on the ESPN scoreboard.

BU jumped to a quick 7-0 lead but Tech has come back to make a game of it, BU up 18-14 at the end of one.

Tech hanging around, BU up 35-27 at the half.
It's been the Davis (6 pts), Jones (12 pts) and Cave (6 pts) for BU.
Cook-Taylor and Caldwell have 8 each for Tech.

Both coaches have to gnashing their teeth at the poor FT shooting. Tech could be right there with BU, except for making only 5-9 (55.6%) from the FT line. Meanwhile, BU could enjoy a solid double digit lead except for doing even worse from the FT line (5-14; 35.7%). Tech has 20 rebs to BU's 23.

But, Tech's bigs, Brewer and Terry, each has three fouls. Brown and Cave for BU have two fouls each. Mompremier has yet to play for BU. Wonder if she will be good to go for Monday's game? Not that BU has lacked for post players, playing Brown, Davis, Cox, Cave and Cohen in the first half.

BU with a big 3rd quarter to go up 58-41. Brown has a big 3rd quarter as she now has 20 pts entering the fourth where she was in the low singles at the half.

BU wins 79-61. BU won the first two quarters by a slight margin, won the 3rd big and it was a 21-20 shootout in the fourth, edge to BU.

Looked like Tech relied heavily on the 3 but was unable to hit it. BU, in the second, went to Brown heavily with both Tech's Brewer and Terry in foul trouble. Surprisingly, at least to me, BU only played Chou in the backcourt, unless Davis played there also. Of the four reserves that got in for BU, three were frontcourt players, Cox, Cave & Cohen. Okay, Landrum showed up, must have played guard a bit at the end.

Have to wonder if they will shoot that poorly from the FT line (9-23; 39.1%) and if Mompremier will be available to play Monday.

TCU up at the half, 35-32, over KU.
TCU's Moore has 12 pts, two after bowling over two KU players either of which should have been an offensive foul on her but ended up with the second KU player being called for a block.

KU is led by Washington with 10 pts. Kinda surprised not see KU's Culvert playing. She was a more heralded transfer than Washington and the two were supposed to give KU a dynamic backcourt. Looks like Christopher has taken over as the PG for KU. She has four assists, including some very pretty passes.

63-55, thought it was 62-55, but ESPN has it at 63-55 at the end of 3. TCU up on KU.
Alix with 21 pts, Moore with 14 pts and Ramirez with 2 3pters for 8 pts to lead TCU.

Washington (22 pts) and Manning-Allen with 14 off the bench leading the Jayhawks.

TCU pulls away to win 80-68 over KU.
Three players in double figures for the Horned Frogs with Alix topping the group with 25 pts. Two others had nine and eight pts. Lots of support for Alix.

For KU, it was Washington with 27 pts, Manning-Allen with 14 and Kopatich with 8 pts. No one else had more than four pts.

KU forced 20 TOs and only committed 11 but got beat on the boards 43-22.

From the OU board, Manning has an MCL sprain. No projected time to return, only guesses from posters.
