That's amazing. Haha. Proves how disconnected we are these days.

I thought Ron McKelvey was a good one, but a whole team? Haha. That's too much.:beertoast::popcorn:

Those "duped" got what they paid for and didn't do their homework. Is any organization more unreliable than ESPN. Kings of the whitewash on their "specials". Can't believe a damn thing they report.

It's nice that Disney is their parent company since they seem to live in a nonexistent fairy tale world. Who cares? If it gets ratings, do it. Damn the truth or reliability.

In the IMG game, one report said the HC of IMG had all Frosh playing the second half and told them to take a knee when they got to the 1 yardline and not to score anymore. ESPN didn't do their homework on this one. It's a hot mess for sure. But, the fact that ESPN got duped and didn't check the group out to see if that was even a bonafide school is funny.

In defense of ESPN (ok , there's still no excuse and plenty of red flags were out there), but this is what happens when we get so comfortable with all these prep schools that basically exist to play all-star HS football. It doesn't seem that different from the clubs that have become so powerful in basketball. Bunch of guys wanting to milk promising athletes for all the money they can. It's funny but it's also pretty sad that this stuff is going on and players actually feel like they have to go along with it.

This may not relate, but I turned out to be surprised when all those Ball brothers actually did become NBA stars. Their dad seemed like the kind of guy that would run Bishop Sycamore.
