I say recruit his whole OL - - the opponents seldom even lay a hand on him.

Wonder if he was recruited by Herman for Houston, and followed him when he became our HC?

Looks like a natural replacement for D'Onta.

    Hook him and WELCOME!!!!

Exactly what I thought and also makes grading a RB's tape much tougher. Have to single out the plays where the player gets real resistance to judge his skills.

One thing you can tell is the kid is a highly coordinated athlete which is always a great sign. Catches, throws, and even flips well. :smile1:

If a young RB has good size, speed, vision, and coordination...which Carter seems to check off...the rest is downhill.

    WorsterMan SEC here we come!!

Clips remind me a lot of a kid we used to have around the 40.... Jammal Charles.

Good balance, quick moves, vision, size, good hands and SPEED TO BURN!!!

Good headhunter on kickoffs too... always the first to the ball carrier!

You're saying you think he is afraid of contact?

That might be a good thing. If he is too scared of contact, he might run super dupper fast to avoid it.

The interwebs say that Carter has run a 10.5 100m, and another source said 10.71. Jamaal Charles ran a 10.13. So, Carter is darn fast, but Jamaal was in a different class as far as speed.

He's more the speed of D'onta Foreman. That'll get it done.

Not too many caught him once he got into the open field.

Main thing about him that I noticed is that he goes from zero to "what was that???" in about .5 seconds.

Awesome speed, but that O line was awesome. Hard to tell how he'll respond with some hard contact based on that video. We'll just have to be sure to get the ball to him with room to run, and let Warren run up the middle. great combination with both on the field.

I guess I'm the only one who noticed the spin moves he used to break tackles.

Bet you a $hunnert that someone has hung a nickname of "Toenail" on him.

You can do that if you dare.

I intend to call him "Sir".

    Hook you

Note upon 2nd and 3rd looks at the tape how many times he makes a speed cut, between tacklers that are closing. He gets past them so quickly they are unable to make a play. Then no one catches him who is even with him or a step behind. His vision and quickness to the hole, and crazy ability to get to full speed in a step or two is very unusual. It makes blocking for him a bit easier. Not taking anything away from his line, they are doing their job; but a running back like this kid makes O-line play a lot easier.

Welcome to the 40 acres Toneil. :yippee::coolnana:

If Buechele develops into a leader at QB, a captain, and can dish the rock off to Toneil, we'd have, uh, sorry, going there, The Captain and Toneil.

Some Muskrat Love, right there is what I'm talkin bout. Younglings won't know what I'm talking about.
