    There's a great film called 'Pop Gear' from '65 that showcases Brit Invasion bands like the Animals, Herman's Hermits, and the like. They lip sync (except for two live Beatles tunes) in cheap mod settings, but the songs are often strong and the whole feels is just too good to pass up.

    I saw Eric Burdon about 15 years ago in Houston at Party on the Plaza. Hard to believe you could see someone like him @ a free concert in downtown houston.

    Quite a good concert.
