No. Its in its final season. The last episode was one of the best of the series. Its reported spinoff, however, has already jumped the shark before it even starts.
BSG = Battlestar Galactica I am still watching but the current story line is not working for me. It is limping toward an end.
We don't know yet. Baltar knows something about Felix, and we assume that knowledge is part of why Gaeta stabbed Baltar. I'm pretty curious. As for jumping the shark, I think this storyline was basically "filler" until we get to tying things up. We're going to get back into the main storyline of discovering what's up with the Cylons next week.
SPOILER BELOW: . . . . . The secret was Gaeta's relationship with one of the Eight's on New Caprica. That was revealed in one of the webisodes during the break of Season 4- he was working with them during the occupation of New Caprica to get people in the resistance out of prison, and became romantically involved. I'm impressed with how they've been wrapping up the series- I'm starting to think people have forgotten what jumping the shark really is and just like using the phrase if they don't like the direction a show is taking. But I have yet to see a plot at that level of ridiculousness from BSG.
I still think that the 8, Boomer, still with Cavil will be a factor. This whole thing of a Resurrection ship for the final 5 is awesome. Their models were not served by the one or the type destroyed previously, right? Ellen, come on down! Tigh, you got some 'splaining to do. "Honey, I am sorry I killed you but..." Actually I think she will not have a problem with it. It's easy to forgive people when you can be resurrected.
I disagree. People seem to forget that each season there have been less than spectacular episodes in between some great episodes. The writing is very inconsistent from episdoe to episode which is understandable given the low budget for the show. So basically the show has always suffered from some mediocre episodes. That said, the last two episodes have been very good, especially last week's. This week was a little bit of a letdown given the greatness of last week but I thought the conclusion of Resurrection Ship was a letdown compared to the Pegasus and part 1 episodes that preceded it.
Starbuck was on Nip/Tuck last night. Looks like she could be a recurring character. Looked super hot, btw.
