For a decade now, Texas comes nowhere near the top of NCAA hitting. Currently no. 231 in BA and 89 in runs scored. What's wrong? With an ERA ranked 52 not a pretty picture. We moved the fences in. Not much happened. Seems that we take too many pitches. What do you think?
Losing Hamilton was a big loss but we had the same problem last season. We're just not getting the talent in the field we had during the early years of Augie's term. Not a lot of MLB rosters are dotted with Longhorns (non pitchers)
