Coach Popovich

Winningest coach in NBA history. With last night's win against the Jazz, he also becomes winningest coach in NBA regular season history. Love him or hate him, he has 5 more rings than I do & is headed to the HOF.

 

Popovich is a great basketball coach. He outed himself as a complete moron in other areas years ago.

I think he’s a great coach. It’s just too bad he decided to use his bully pulpit to tell the general public what asinine racists they were if they didn’t agree with his takes.

 

He is outspoken, not "PC" (whatever that is) & calls it like he sees it. Some people just don't like that. He's definitely no sheeple. I like that.

I base my comments on listening to him make comments on the news. He is a woke Maoist. But he coach ball good. Not too good now though.

 

I only watch movies with Jon Voight and James Woods.

He was really good when he had multiple Hall of Famers on the roster. RC Buford, who I believe is responsible for finding Ginobli and Parker, is damn good.

no coach these days can make wine out of water. Pop is great. But now does not have the grapes (I'd normally use horses here, but didn't want to mix metaphors lol).

 

He has a bunch of Thompson Seedless, and not much in the way of To-Kalon Cabernet.

 

I look forward to the time he's no longer associated with the Spurs, so I can start rooting for them again.
