CONGRATS TO THE PURPLE WIZARD AND HIS CATS. TEXAS STATE CHAMPS! BEAT TCU. TECH. BAYLOR. TEXAS AND THE BR-AGGIES.
Bill Snyder is quite a coach. Seemed to have just the right play for the situation. I am sure he gets the stomach churning at times but he is always outwardly calm. Earlier today Dana Holgorsen looked like he needed anger management classes.
I don't know man... they can't help themselves. Think about the massive ego they display even though the last time they won a national championship in football was the year Germany attacked Poland.
POOOOOORRRR Aggys! Their vaunted SEC SEC SEC defense was gashed for over two yards rushing and 32 minutes time of possession. I thought is was going to throw up with the love they giving Miles Garret. The camera was literally on him after every play. I turned the sound off and watched because I couldn't stand the man love anymore. Dude had ONE TACKLE! ONE! No sacks, No TFL's He did nothing.
https://texags.com/forums/5/topics/2823720 "Obviously Myles was great for A&M in his career and injured this year but our last 4 losses to MSU, Ole Miss, LSU & K State, Myles had 0 solo tackles in all games combined."
The Star-Telegram ripped them a new one....http://www.star-telegram.com/sports/spt-columns-blogs/the-big-mac-blog/article123517324.html. Just in case it won't open, below are a couple of highlights.... "The Aggies are not that much different from Missouri, South Carolina or Vanderbilt — they are SEC in name only." "There is no good way to spin this: Other than the check, the Aggies’ decision to go to the SEC has been a joke. Unless the Aggies don’t have the best quarterback in college football running the show, they are not that good. A move that once looked so promising continues to be played out as predicted. The Aggies can’t hang in the SEC, just as they could not in the Big 12. Other than the wondrous first season of John Manziel at A&M, which coincided with the team’s first year in the SEC in 2012, this is a middle tier Power 5 team. The Aggies have finished with a winning record in the SEC once — 2012, when they were 6-2, which included a win at No. 1 Alabama and narrow losses to LSU and Florida." "There were just as many good players in College Station when the Aggies were in the Big 12 as there are now, and the end results look the same, too — right in the middle.'
Palmer was going on and on about how stats for guys like Garrett are misleading because he is so disruptive that he causes the other guys to have a lot of tackles blah blah blah. Whatever.
I hope Mr. Mac Engel has body guards on his family, because when those skin head corps t*rds find someone to read that to them, they are going to draw their sabers.
Aggies are just Aggies, but they do have some great players come through their program every once in a while. Garrett is an outstanding player. We likely would have won 2 or 3 more games this year if he was on our team. It would be like having an extra DB on every play.
