    what should I do for sides? I have absolutely 0 imagination when it comes to this

    Here are a few that go well. Rice with chicken broth and saffron, mashed potatoes, mashed cauliflower, or carrots.

    A very traditional side is buttered egg noodles. Get flat, long noodles cook them them toss in butter, season with some salt if you didn't salt the water.

    roasted garlic/rosemary smashed potatoes.

    Oven roasted potatoes seasoned with herbes de provence and sauteed haricots verts (S&P) with just a squeeze of lemon juice. Trust me on this.
