I wonder if they plan to shift the field south at all....leaving more room between the north end line and the wall.
let's hope not......as short a distance as possible between rabid fans and the opposing team is what we want!
The field will not move since the next phase of construction, whenever approved, will enclose the south end to mirror the north end. When complete, the north end zone will match the EAST side of the stadium in height, luxury boxes, club seating and volume. The one advantage will be the escalators. Man, that thing is starting to get huge. We are going to have to take advantage of the noise factor. Can you imagine how f'n loud we could make that thing?
Yes, awesome pics! They won't move the field because it would affect sightlines. The wall to the NEZ wasn't any closer than the SEZ bleachers were. Speaking of which, they were removed because they were rented. It doesn't make sense to pay for the rental during the offseason when no one would use them. The same thing happened last year. Plus that grass took a beating, it could use some sunshine.

Did you notice in the first two pics just right of center there is an oxygen tank? That's how high that thing is.
