Don't ADs/Universities have to ask permission to speak with a coach about an opening?

If so then Mack KNEW Florida was coming after Muschamp and he would also know that Florida would be the only job WM would leave UT for....Maybe that is why Randy Shannon is now in the picture for DC?

Florida didn't have UM retire one day and automatically go talk to WM for the first time. This has been in the works at least since the days following the A$M loss.

No, you don't HAVE to ask permission, but most schools do as a matter of courtesy. If Florida didn't ask, karma will jump up and bite them on the _ss.

So basically this means that coach's contracts aren't worth the paper they're written on. You can walk whenevr you feel? [IMG]
