DT Jordan Elliott (Feb 19)(Feb 3 COMMIT)

Per TFB:
Not long ago when I spoke with Michigan defensive line commit, Jordan Elliot (Houston, TX) he was emphatic about how solid he is to Michigan; so much so that he said he wouldn’t accept any home visits from other schools (Texas included). I chatted a bit with him last night and he let me know that things have changed. He said Texas will do an in-home visit with him next week and he is apparently just fine with that.

I’d definitely keep your eye on Elliot. I think the door for Texas might be reopening.

 

I don't know what to take as the final word on this, but Horns247 just reported that Jordan Elliott is indeed coming, and that "multiple sources" report that he has just moved up the OV to this coming weekend rather than the 29th too. Is he coming or is he not?

When there is smoke.... there is probably at least discussion on a new Pope, if not fire.

 

LOL--again. Jay, you are on a roll. Or have you hired a team of comedy writers?

 

I kind of wish he was coming to UT on the last weekend before signing day. I think the last place visited may have to best shot to sign him.

 

Same here...But I feel better about us getting him than I did a few days ago.

 

Senior highlights (1st six games)

 

Steven Lorenz of Michigan247 just put a crystal ball for Elliott to Texas. Normally they don't do that on a commit unless they really are feeling a flip coming. This coming right after the Harbaugh in home and then Texas coaches meeting him yesterday, is a really good sign.

 

Texas needs some DL that can play right now.

Don't really know what to make of this one....

 

Still no other university seriously claiming him to be a possibility to them, as of sunday morning. As it is getting late now, it is beginning to appear like a foregone conclusion that Charlie has reeled this guy back in.

Yeah, come on home Jordan, to where you always belonged before the temporary infatuation with "snow aggy" (the name given to Meatchicken by @dondrysdale at 247horns ).

Wow the paper quality on the UT diplomas has really dropped off lately.

 

One has to believe that he's coming our way after that tweet.

 

I don't think there was any doubt for the last 3-4 days that Charlie has closed on him. All done. I say 99% chance that he is a commit to us, but of course, I have no sources, as always...
