If it's possible, it really would be nice to do this somewhere in Fort Worth or the Mid-cities - driving in Dallas can really get scary.

 

Yeah, as the say at Railhead Barbecue in Fort Worth, life is too short to live in Dallas.

 

Obviously HIC isn’t swinging by BNA, so Herb is flying me down. I’m in.

 

I'm on leave til March, maybe April, or I'd be there. Or I can drive. We can Planes, Trains, and Automobiles our way there.

 

HIC, what are the chances that if we take up a collection at the Village Idiot get together that your employer would paint Bevo on one of their airplanes?

 

Remember the good ole days when Harding Lawrence always had one or more orange Braniff jets flying down the middle of the Cotton Bowl during the OU game.

Then there was the "spot the FBI" who were lurking around during the game trying to find Ben Jack Cage.

We will definitely have another tailgate sometime this spring... perhaps several of you that had to miss last eve will be able to make the next gig.... LHABSOB & HIC traveled all the way from Chicago, Sabre & EDT joined us from Houston area....


Maybe Dionysus will be in better health and can join us next time!!

Driver 8, you would have highly appreciated the very HOT & shapely lead singer in the live band that started about 8:30 that interrupted our ongoing conversations about the Horns, Sark, Sabre stories, our lives, etc.!!?

She began singing very sultry versions of Stevie Nick's and Fleetwood Mac!

I commented early on to Sabre: a semi-old guy like me has to be careful commenting too much about the hotness of a young woman like that... or I get an UNDESERVED and unwelcome label.

So, I was kind of holding this back..... as I was "escorting" Sabre out of Tolbert's... an attractive blonde in mask stopped him to talk. As he proceeded by she patted him on the ***. I was HIGHLY offended, as she did not do that to me as I passed by.... guess i need to get a fine black Stetson hat !!!
