Domers will be 1, Bama will move to 2, Georgia 3rd, then if you follow the same logic of last week KSU would be 4 and Oregon would be 5. How many of you think KSU and Oregon fall behind all the SEC schools and land somewhere around the 7-9 range?
I see KSU going further down than just the 4-5 range...they lost to an unranked team and didn't just lose a squeaker- they got their collective asses handed to them by a team that plays next to no defense. Alabama lost to a team that was at least ranked in the top 15 at the time of the game. The broader implication is what the blow-out loss may do for any perceptions of the overall conference strength given that there is no clear steam-roller of a squad. Let's face it, we got pummeled by a blow-U squad that barely got by a team now with five straight losses AND gave up more than 750 yards of offense to WVU. The Big XII this year is hellbent on proving the 'in any given week' adage that almost portrays the conference as one big picture of mediocrity...not unlike what some weeks in the SEC also seem to be doing.
