what kind of legal issues are at play here? if my car,house, or obviously somebody i know were to be hit with this thing, could i not sue nasa's *** off?
That may be true, but in those 54 years there have been 3199 pieces of space junk fall. You know what that means.
It means theres a better chance you being hit by space junk than being hit by a terrorist attack. Now let me put my hands down your pants because YOU could be a terrorist.
I guess more meteors fall than space debris Still it is interesting to know how many people the top scientists/politicians literaly find acceptable to sacrifice for their careers.
