Hey peeps. The GF and I are headed to Ireland this summer for about three weeks from mid June thru the beginning of July. We like to visit ancient sites, cathedrals, cozy pubs within crawling distance of lodging, and pretty much anything that is unusual. We'll be renting a car so we're mobile. We're just starting our schedule now and any suggestions for things to do or see would be much appreciated. Thanks!

Suggest you consider the Dingle Peninsula and Denis Ryan's services as a guide; highly recommend him. Look him up on Trip Advisor. There is a lot to see in the area and Denis knows it all. Trip to Blasket Islands is a must.

When crawling home from the pubs remember the cars are on the opposite side of the street. In the Temple Bar Area there are tons of signs that remind you of that but be very careful, especially at the end of the night.

If you have a car and can drive down to Waterford it is an awesome drive and nice town.
