KC v. TB

KC has made way too many mistakes in the first half.

 

They certainly look like they weren’t expecting TB’s speed.

 

Complete self-destruction so far by KC. Tampa Bay would have 3-6 points at halftime if not for largely unforced stupidity by the Chiefs. Penalty after the play was over following 3rd down stop, holding far away from the play wipes out a pick, lining up offsides on 4th and 4, and that idiotic timeout that gave TB time for the final touchdown, which was set up by a holding penalty on an uncatchable throw.

 

KC fans acting just like OU fans on social media after a loss....blaming everything on officials.

 

Still a lot of FB to play, but thatTampa Bay defense is lit . Hope they hold on.

Watching Mahomes right now is like watching LeBron in the 2015 Finals. Having to make everything happen by himself and not getting much help.

 

I wasn't rooting for Tom Brady to win another Super Bowl... but he's a class act. Tampa put together a helluva team that peaked at the right time. KC made some unforced errors, but without better OL play, Mahomes and company never really had a chance.

 

You nailed it, Crockett. I didn't realize that the makeshift KC line would be manhandled so badly by the Buc defense.

I left to go get tacos and listened to the game on Westwood One. The analyst made a point of saying that Mahomes looked like he didn’t trust the men in front of him. My thought was, they haven’t given him a reason to trust them. He ran for his life all night long.

 

A few weeks or a couple of months ago someone posted about what a brilliant analyst Romo is and how he was always predicting what play an offense was going to run. He didn't do it once tonight. One would think on the biggest stage in sports he might have taken a crack at it.

 

Holy ****. Lifting a 16” shell (1900 lbs) ain’t chickenshit. Must have raised it enough to free someone.

It's Tom Brady's world, we just live in it.

 

It's like being asked to loan money to a drug addict. It's not so much a question of trust when you know for certain that the money is really a gift and that it won't be put to good use. Mahomes knew for certain what would happen if he stayed in the pocket.

 

Tampa’s D made Mahomes look like he was back at Tech.
