this is prob "misplaced" but this forum gets the most looks ... appreciate the upgrade to the BBS Dionysis has made, but find the "approved" language would be better served with something which would be less ... profane. I could be on an island, and that's OK. I'm passed living for the approval of someone else, but if you need a DD I'm your guy. You're welcome.

It's not like it includes actual profanity. Could always just change it to "What the-" instead though I guess.
I think ?!? would be more appropriate to mean WTF and label it Huh? The eyes seem more like, I'm watching you or keeping an eye out. Something to that effect.

I’ll only add that ... there is an option to have profanity blocked ... this was part of the original HF site. Then to use this in the rating bar ... seemed a bit duplicitous to me ... and unnecessary. I’m no snowflake ... not gonna wilt over it, but there’s a difference in a poster using it, and accepting it as proper. Anyhow, thanks for the participation and commentary ... @Dionysus IDK if you’re getting a consensus but thanks for considering it, regardless.
This was my thought when I set it up, and I admit that I did not give it much more thought than that. It seemed harmless. I am inclined to roll with the majority here — apologies to anyone offended.

Personally, I'm not a fan of the 'like bar' fwiw and preferred the site how it was before. Well, at least it doesn't take the final step into the abyss of positive and negative reputation that's used on other sites.
I don't care for the reputation systems either but I think the new like bar is cool. You can engage a little more with stuff, and there's still just the plain old "like" option if you don't want the others
I'm still a little confuzzled by the poop one...I've seen it used on a few posts that seemed pretty clear cut and accurate. Never quite knew if the person who used it just misclicked or if I was that off base with someone on how the post looked...
I’m open to suggestions! We can drop the poop one, add something else, change it, whatever. I was just throwing something together for fun.
I think it is really funny that this thread even exists in it's current state. Not bad at all...just fun and funny compared to all the serious banter at times. Glad we don't take ourselves tooo seriously. I don't like wtf, do like the new bar, think poop is funny and will use it often on anyone who posts a bad-from-every-angle post. Appreciate your efforts Dion...and the fact that this funny thread discussing such silly things exists in a world where people are fighting each other tooth and nail and full of rage over every conceivable thing known to man...a little comedy is good relief.
