His football career worked out better for his high school coach than it did for him. Should have stayed at Arkansas. He could have beat out Dick {snicker}.
lots of crazy going on at arkansas at that point. mitch's mom was a helicopter parent who, along with the parents of the other springdale HS kids who signed there, met with the AD to discuss playing time among other things. i think he was encouraged to go elsewhere because he wasnt getting what he thought he deserved at arkansas.
