We have a raised covered patio or back porch. It has the standard wrought iron railing around the perimeter except for the stairs. I want to have a gate made to block the stairs and keep the dog off and the baby on the porch. Any leads other than Viking fence. I think they quoted $600 for a 30" gate that is only 36" high made from the pre-fab iron rail.
i used Iron Access in houston for a gate for the side of my house and was very pleased with the price, quality, and service after the sale. something larger than you describe cost me ~$500 in 2005 they also did my driveway gate and motor and i have been pleased with that too.
