No players from Big 12 in 1st round. Houston Cougars had a player selected as only Texas team.

 

I remember the draft when the longhorns didn't have a single player picked. Forgot what year that was. I remember walking around embarrassed and dumbfounded. How can the university of Jerry's kids get a kid drafted and not us. Its still mind-blowing. Talk about an all time low.

The draft has got me thinking who on our roster will be the next player to go in the first round. I was thinking Robinson and then maybe Card. Can't think of anyone else.

A very stupid idea. Goodell was trying to be funny. It didn't work.

 

And the way RBs have been dropping on draft boards for the past 10 years, I wouldn't be upset if someone told me that Bijan wouldn't be taken until Pick #29 or something like that.

Karic
Jamison
Adimora
Coffey

 

Don't forget Collins

 

Not one from B12 and 6 from Ala? Am I correct? Gee I wonder why Saban gets his pick of recruits. As is frequently said, “ winning changes everything”.

And proof that stars matter. It still amazes me that we are getting Ben Davis who was a 5-star transfer that didn't see the field at Bama. I seriously doubt it's because he sucks, it's because that roster is loaded with the best players in the country.

None from the Big XII, but three from Houston SMSA, and there are a couple more out there before the Big XII gets a sniff, excluding the kid from TCU.

Anyone think this is caused by the lack of stability with all the coaching turnover in the conference?

 

Not surprised Texas but I was surprised entire conference

 

Hate to say it but we have become the red-headed stepchild of P5 conferences. I think that's going to change in the near future.

I'm not surprised at all. Starting year before last all we heard was that if Texas is going to win a championship then last year was the year to do it because everyone in the conference was down. I bet that changes for next years draft.

Looks like Ossai may slip to round 3. Kinda surprised

For the money Jones wasted on his offense, he shouldn't need but two players on the field on offense.

 

Crazy to me that Tylan Wallace is a 4th rounder apparently. That guy was uncoverable against us. Shows just how far our DBs have fallen.
