This morning they are showing OU and Okie-Lite on the bubble. Texas was not even in the conversation. I'm hoping this means they expect us to get an at large.
Well, Lunadri's bracket on ESPN has the Horns as an 11th seed and one of the last four byes which I take to mean that he considers us to just have escaped the bubble. Unless upsets happen, then who knows?
I’m a bit surprised by the perspective above which suggests that the predictions noted during the game yesterday — that a loss would put us at a 37% chance of making it — were completely off. If we do get there, it would be nice to win a couple of games. We will probably disappoint because there has been no consistency and that has been the norm (disappointment) during the Smart era, but one never knows.
Just getting out of our conference can make a difference. For one thing, the B12 is pretty good top to bottom. And secondly, the teams know each other well. If Bamba heals a little more maybe we can win at least one. Although I thought Sims was great without him.
