If anything, that call against Bonney doesn't get made 3 out of 4 times. His right arm left the receiver way before the ball got there.

I'm more concerned about how Norvell is using Gray thus far. 2 yards into the middle of the line is exactly what hasn't worked all season.

 

Those seam passes over the line need more awareness. Put your damn hands up.

 

And there's the Haines missed tackle. And the personal foul to boot.

 

Haha, wasn't Charlie Strong supposed to be a "defensive coach?" And people think this guy is the answer at head coach...

 

I'm glad Marcus Johnson is back. I wish Greg Robinson were back.

I'm more convinced now that Bedford just doesn't understand X's and O's. He's a quote machine and uses his experience to get passion out of the players. But he's still the same guy who schemed against us when we put 38 straight points in like 25 minutes of playing time in our 2005 comeback.

 

Put Vaccarro in the game and take Haines out! Come on DEFENSE!!

 

Strong won't be here next year. New AD will go get his guy. This D may be worse then anything Mackovic put out there. There's not one play maker on this D. Not one. Malik may turn into that, but he's not there yet. No one else even has the ability to be a play maker.

Going to be a long year with this defense. Punting is not an option. Gray looks slow in comparison to others

 

Gray actually had a hole on that last option and wasn't fast enough to hit it. All year he has looked slower than he did the past 3 years.

 

Heard is going to get annihilated if the line keeps breaking down.

 

Broken play is our best play after long bomb to whomever. Heard has proven to be very accurate on the deep throws....

God I hate to say this but get Foreman in there for Gray. Gray's crowning achievement for the Texas program was his OU game 2 years ago. He's been nothing but gimpy, limp-wristed stool going back to last year's debacle.

 

Kent Perkins and Taylor Doyle represent everything that has been wrong with our OL development.

 

I don't think that was targeting by the OSU safety but in the NFL I've seen a "defenseless" player call; i.e. you have to let them take a couple of steps or something. That was bang bang. What's the rule?

 

This may be the most frustrating team to watch I have ever seen.

This is becoming despicable. Screw getting a new coach, let's just eradicate the entire program after the last 6 seasons and become strictly a basketball school.

Or maybe just be relegated to the FCS

Rule seems to be made up as they go but that guy had his head up and I thought it was a good clean hit.

 

Not sure we could win in the FCS. Southlake Carrol would score 50 on this guys. Not one guy will step up and make a play. Get a sack, a pick, a pass break up. Something. Just go make a friggin play. Baylor will score 60 on us.
