When I was a kid, my town had a top wrestler who had an arm amputated prior to his Junior year. Although it was a liability for him, he was able to drop a weight class or two, and other wrestlers had trouble adapting to him. It was like, "Whoa, how'd he slip that half Nelson?" Or, "Now, I'll go for a double chicken wing... maybe not."
