OU will play Tulane in Norman due to the hurricane. OU now opens the season with four straight home games! That's what I call preparing for an SEC type schedule! OU -26 is being called the lock of the century (if you got it early)!
That happened to Texas in 1965. Opening game was at Tulane, but storm moved it to Austin. School and registration had not started, so if you looked like a student, you got in student sections for free.
I think Appalachian State beating Michigan still holds that title, but if Tulane wins, there will be about 100 ADs trying to figure out how to get a boat down St Charles Ave to interview the Tulane HC, not the least of whom would be an employee from LSU.
Glad to hear OU is doing the right stuff to make sure Tulane still gets a fair cut of the dough, although it's dumb that original tickets to the game aren't going to get honored. That one got the most memes but Temple over Virginia Tech or Stanford over USC were far more improbable.
