Just wondering what others do about this. I have a Canon Multipass F80 printer that uses BCI-3 cartridges. While Office Depot and others will recycle other brands, they do not take these. I hate to just throw the empty cartridges away if I can recycle them. Have never used one of the refill kits - maybe that's a good option, instead?
I know several elementary schools (AISD) take them as fund raising projects. I was just at Best Buy (Gateway) the other day and saw a recycle bin by front door. No signs stipulating brand/type.
