Player of the Week: Rori Harmon, Texas Longhorns After three consecutive losses -- two of them to nemesis Baylor -- the Longhorns have gotten back on track with four victories in a row. Freshman guard Harmon led the way this past week with a combined 39 points, 14 rebounds 16 assists and nine steals in victories over No. 6 Iowa State and West Virginia. "We've got some young kids playing a lot of minutes and they're getting better," Texas coach Vic Schaefer said. "I'm excited for our kids; they have a chance to do something special."
Quite the honor, considering a Texas player has not received a Big12 POW yet this year. Of course, Rori was also named the Big12 FOW this week. (Gray got POW.) I read somewhere that Rori now has 4 Big12 FOW honors, the most in the Big12. Could we be witnessing an all-Texas B12 FOY switcheroo, Rori instead of Aaliyah?
