"Slime"? Why would you call that poor rube "Slime"? Slive is like the patsy the used car salesman sees on his lot and manages to talk into buying (and over-paying for) the '77 AMC Pacer Coupe that's been sitting in the corner for a few years - AND makes him walk away happy that he bought it. I for one am immensely grateful that poor sucker came along and took aggy off our hands for us, and I don't think we should refer to him as "Slime".
They kept thinking that "alumnus" was plural for "alumni" because alumnus had "us" in it and alumni had "i" in it.
