Sam looked good on first drive of the game. Passes are on target, but too many drops. Did get a FG. Nationals 3 Americans 0 1st Qtr
Haven't you noticed how difficult it has been to get hold of your Aggie friends the few weeks? They have been celebrating nonstop.
Although I've no interest in the NFL how college players project to the next level does. Mond is a guy I'd definitely have advised to stay in school.
Mond did get a couple of scores when Rhule put the 1st team back in, but that was about it for as much as he's played.
Ta'quan Graham has had a good day. Couple of tackles for loss and some other good plays. Nationals up now 27-16.
Well...that's it for the 2020-2021 College Football Season. Final Nationals 27 Americans 24. Gonna be a loooong 8 months 'til the season kicks off.
No mention of the female Side Judge? Absolutely awful. Overruled how many times? When she made a call, how often was it correct? The TD pass on the ground? The guy is 10 feet from you as you look down the line, and you can't see his size 13 foot is a clearly out of bounds. LG 15/20 yards down field overruled her. Watch her show up in the Cotton Bowl as Bowelsby & Walleye try to make "a statement". Big XII officials - no experience necessary, but if you're worth a damn, no need to apply
Aren't there a couple of small school conferences playing this spring? Not as good as watching Katy or Duncanville or Westlake or Northshore, but it will test my old statement that there is no such thing as a bad football game.
Wasn't able to watch the game but I checked the box score / stats etc. Sam's didn't look great. Understand there were some drops. His yardage total doesn't indicate he connected on any deep balls, was curious if he even threw any & also how his delivery looked.
He was a 4 year starter. He had done as much as he could. Time to either make it or not. But another year wasn't going to change.
Found it interesting that Sam played a couple of series in the 1st Q and got 2 scores. Mond played nearly 3 quarters and also got 2 scores. What was surprising is he lost the game and was declared the MVP of the game.
I think Sam finds a spot much like Taysom Hill at New Orleans. After all, didn’t Texas make Taysom the star he is?
Please, not a Whataburger near me! I want my onions and jalapenos grilled, not the lettuce. Just saying.
So.......Mond was MVP? No words! 100K says he doesn’t get drafted in first 3 round. I’ll take 3 “takers” Hoffhorn
I've always thought Mond was a decent QB. Not a Heisman or all American candidate, but not worthy of all the hate thrown his way.
