Augie had a point in the post-game interview on LHN. He said the Horns don't have a breaking ball pitcher like those wearing cardinal red last night. Texas has more of a power pitching staff this year and are unable to reproduce that style in practice. That was the first time this team has seen someone with that much movement and control.

Like 56 Bells said above - the pitching always starts out ahead of hitting. It's too early to know if this team will be a better hitting team than last year.

I choose to believe - not blame. :hookem:

What has happened over the course of several years is not blame, just the facts. It seems that is being overlooked, why?

Seems the hitting has never caught up to the pitching in the past six seasons.
There is nothing wrong with pointing that out.

Why has Texas baseball gone "this long" without even average hitting, not the past few games?

I choose to believe facts, they are what they are, doesn't matter who is involved.
