I am not married to order but these are variously my ten favorite memories from this past season: 1. Its not 10 to 9 in Texas anymore! 2. Watching Texas play USC with the same buddy I went to the '06 Rose Bowl with and reliving some of those memories 3. Dont Stop Believin against Iowa State 4. Dicker the Kicker 5. First win in Manhattan since 2002 6. Lil Jordan does his own Crabtree thing Lil’Jordan Humphrey Game Winning Touchdown Vs Texas Tech 7. Buechele comes on to beat Baylor Baylor vs Texas Football Highlights 8. Horns clinch spot in Big XII Title Game Week 13 2018 #14 Texas vs Kansas Full Game Highlights 9. Bevo Blvd Bevo Boulevard returns to the UT Campus 10. CJ wows against TCU Collin Johnson Full Highlights Texas vs TCU || 9.22.18 || 7 Rec, 124 Yards, 1 TD
I think the “culture run” by LJ against OU in the RRS was a defining moment for 2018 and, even more importantly, moving the entire program back to prominence. LJ is not Ehlinger who I credit immensely with a lot of Texas success, but attitude and culture starts with him.
My thoughts exactly!! Also, my list would include rewatching the 2006 Rose Bowl the day before the USC game. Even 12+ years later, that game is a pleasure to watch.
I kind of view the whole Sugar Bowl experience from Bevo establishing his turf to Texas physically wearing out Georgia as all part and parcel of same memory.
We could also put Bevo taking over the SuperDome as the first great memory of 2019. Be a super ( get it) start of many to come.
GREAT post FWH !!! Like HHD, I would have made Dicker's kick vs. ou / WIN over ou #1, on my top 10 highlights of the season.
The best part of that, in retrospect (because I was at the game so did not see this till later on TV) was Dicker giving the camera a "wassup" look as we were driving to set up the FG.
