aggy is furious, and can't understand why an 11th place finish in the SEC didn't earn them a regional host. By the way, they've been eliminated in postseason play by a Big 12 team in each of the last 4 years (once by us, and 3x by TCU). That's gotta sting...

2016 national champs got a home regional. Will be interesting to see if they have some of their former mojo.

Is that Northwestern Louisiana going with LSU to Oregon Mormon A&M?

If so, why are two Louisiana schools being shipped 2600 miles? I guess you turn the selection committee over to the dentally challenged agricultural and mechanical college of South Carolina, **** like that will happen

Looks like Baylor's reward for winning the Big XII Tournament is a no chance to advance. They might be a 2 seed as a tournament champion, but CSF knows how to play in a regional.

Aggy will be a tough out. Our Team will have to play better than they did last week. But, if we can’t beat the ags twice at home, we don’t deserve to advance.

Whoever decides these things continues to be in love with Tech, despite what I would call a big nothingburger on results. However, they wanted Tech to host and they could not very well let them host and then not include us.

I agree. My opinion is the "outside experts" were so in bed with Tech at the start of the season that not giving them a host slot at the end would "damage" their creditability (which they are the only ones who believe they have any creditability).

So, how does Pierce manage the pitching rotation? Do we go all-in with Kingham vs TSU or save him for game 2? Wondering the same for Aggy? Our loss to Aggy weeks ago was a combo pitching/hitting not in sync....one of our “Mr Hyde” performances. I like our odds at home this weekend. But, Pierce needs to have his P’s ready for battle.

O'Donnell and the BP handled TSU fairly easily on 18 April so I would expect something like the same in Game 1 (officially Game 2)
(could be a bad assumption). The key to the entire weekend will be what happens in Game 1 (Indiana v. aggy) with the temperature being around 95 at first pitch.

I told my dog that she has as many NCAA baseball championships as aggy does. She stared back at me nonplussed.

The Hoosiers stop Tx Southern 6-0. They wait the loser of Texas vs A&M.
