Texas rolls into Norman on Sunday

Jordan did a very good job reading the down ball screen. She had a open shot a the top of the key and took one extra dribble and got blocked.

I was wondering why Kelsey wasn't in. She is sitting with two fouls. as is Empress.

 

that was a block by Brady, the OU player didn't throw it away. Brooke doesn't miss too many close in shots.
Lots of players in foul trouble.

 

Not going to be a relaxing game to watch as expected

 

Imani struggling to get a shot and then struggling to finish. One of six from the field, two rebs. three blocks. But 3 of four from FT line.

 

Much better job of reading the down ball screens. When ou was downing the screen Imani popped out instead of just standing there. Imani is obviously struggling to finish at the rim. Ariel has also struggled today but Jordan has given the team good minutes. The guards need to give shot fakes and put the ball on the floor and shoot more mid range pull up jump shots. Overall the team has played well.

 

Wow everyone just seemed to be doing too much except Brooke.

 

we got almost nothing from our posts in the first half.. Imani is 1-7, Kelsey 0-1. Imani has five pts, three rebs. down to 29% from the field. FTs are keeping us in the game (12-14) as well as Brooke with 14 pts.

 

I don't see Kelsey starting over Joyner for long next year. We are gonna play small ball a ton. Aston is gonna have to change up the scheme a lot.

as poorly as we are shooting, we are still right in this game. Imani got a good shot to go. If she can start finishing, we got a good chance to pull this one out.

 

Not sure it will Joyner or Kelsey as much as Joyner and Kelsey.

She has to be my leader all time of players who get called for calls that don't look that way to me.

 

Brooke is going to hit one of those last second shots. Horns up 49--45 at the end of three. Now shooting 34%, same as OU. 3pters are the same-each with four. FTs give the edge to Texas, 13-17 to 9-10.

Our coach stands there and does nothing as refs screwed the heck out of us !!!! Cole raised hell when she thought she wasn't getting calls.....That is why we will never beat Baylor. Refs are afraid of Kim, and know they can get away with cheating with our coach....

 

geez, nothing in the fourth. We need Kelsey to make those FTs.

 

We will get knocked out early in NCAAs.......Bad habit of going cold for long stretches in games. That will kill us against a good team...Kinda like today.

Gonna really be weak without Boyette next year.
