Texas teams in bowl games this year...

This year has been rough for Texas teams (not just Big12) this year:

North Texas lost to Troy

SMU lost to Louisiana Tech

Texas Tech lost to South Florida

Houston lost to Fresno State

 

Maybe Texas high school football, players and coaching, is a bit overrated?

 

That's why Texas has led the nation in D-1 signees over the last 60+ years.

More a case of cretin educrats hiring self dealing, self serving "c**t-sultents" like Chuckie NeniASS and KornFairy to find and overpay unqualified coaches.

Yes, but I will go one step further - the NCAA's unwillingness to quickly catch, investigate and punish what is supposed to be illegal athletic department activities. Not that the Big XII schools are saints, but yes I am looking straight at you ACC (UNC and the Florida schools) and $EC (everyone). Easy money, cars and jobs for the families are hard to recruit against.

 

And maybe in part the qualifications of the boys handing out the stars.
